Hey this is true if you are working out for say five or six hours a day. But for the average person doing say 30-60 minutes of exercise at a time you cannot eat what you want and expect to stay the same weight. The worst part of this is that some people will lose weight thanks to a sensible diet and then they will think as long as they exercise they can start to eat all those calorie filled snacks and not put weight on from them. You can lose ten pounds in just a couple of weeks is something that many of the “trendy” weight loss programs are promising people these days. The fact of the matter is this, yes, it is totally possible to lose this amount of weight in two weeks, and for some people who do diet right, exercise and do not resort to crazy fad diets this happens. But for most regular Joes like you and me it’s not going to happen unless we crash diet or take up some other kind of diet that our bodies cannot function on. Never aim to lose a ton of weight in a short amount of time, you will just end up putting it back on. Losing weight should be done is a slow, controlled and safe way and not in a quick fix.

In theory salad should be the perfect option for a person trying to lose weight. Most fast food places and restaurants will have some kind of salad. The problem is not the salad, but the various dressings and toppings that places and people like to dump on top. Many people slip up when it comes to toppings on salad. A salad does not magically make that huge blob of ranch dressing you put on it suddenly lose all of its calories!
